The whole of lockdown my parents don't work so we depended on the Nsfas allowance for basic food so I didn't get the chance to save up the months of money I received and the year extending to December I won't have anything to eat because my parents can only afford enough for them and I'm fully dependant on Nsfas, I will starve at the end of this month because I won't have groceries for the next month

Im signing this petition because, NSFAS to us its not only a grant /but it's a feeding scheme to us needy students who come from poor backgrounds.
Nsfas has been a life changer for many and its still is, we are signing this petition to the minister because the nsfas monthly grant that we get brings food to our tables, it's fills our families empty stomachs, to many it may be little but to us who knows the struggle it is a lot... Sending R500 at home and still be left with a thousand its something.
#nsfas extension.
