Being a women in South Africa is not being able to be alone, in any capacity , in anytime of day and any place. 

We walk the streets conscious of every move we make. The many fears of rape culture have made it impossible to even fetch the mail, to even walk home from school without the worry or fear that the man walking behind you is following you or just going his own way. Being a woman in South Africa has become extremely difficult and we have had enough. 

So dear Mr President and your government, we march ,we cry, we shout and we demand yet we still die. How many more of us have to be raped and murdered until our safety becomes a priority?
