Cyclist need insurance and license to use public road

A law has to be made that ALL cyclist must have insurance / some sort of license before putting 2 wheels on public roads, the same as motorbikes and cars. Government has paid out millions to make cycle lanes all across London yet don't charge them tax, as they do with other motorist, to get that money back. Cyclist weave in and out of traffic as they please, making cars having to swerve, causing accidents while they simple peddle off. Many ride through red lights, narrowly missing collisions with pedestrians. Too many have been witnessed punching or kicking cars if they can't get pass. Buses have been slowed down as they have to sit behind cyclists, causing backlog in traffic.
A law has to be made for cyclist riding on public roads to be covered with some level of insurance to protect other motorist on the road. And pedestrians Cyclist should not be able to be the cause of accidents and simply ride away without taking responsibility. Every car on our roads must have M.O.T, Tax and Insurance to use public roads. The same goes for Motorbikes. Every car/bike has to have registered number plates so that they can be traced if needed. The same should be done with Cycles now so any rider can be traced if needed. Too many of them have caused accidents and got away with it.
Please sign this petition if you agree that Cyclist should not be allowed to use public roads without insurance. Or license insured, they should be given a government colored badge to prove they have also been registered with name and address. That way we can all be safe on our roads.
