Should Cycling NZ fill all 3 available Male Elite spots at this years BMX World Champs?

The New Zealand BMX community has earned the allocation of number of places for Elite Male riders to attend next months 2019 BMX World Champs to be held in Zolder Belgium. But the Cycling New Zealand selection panel has made the decision not to full these positions as they feel no New Zealand Male Elite riders have preformed up to their required performance level even though criteria has been meet and positions have been awarded for 3 riders to attend this self funded event. I feel that opportunities to achieve success have been unfairly taken away from these qualified riders and the NZ BMX community as a whole, and that this decision will have an adverse effect on the sport here in New Zealand. I would like the New Zealand BMX family and the wider BMX community to voice their opinion on this matter and for the Cycling New Zealand selectors to reconsider their decision and let our best male riders attend this very important International event.
