There is no SAFE well lighted cycle routes between Hatfield, Thorne, Dunscroft and Stainforth, they are only linked by roads that are unlit and not safe, some with no pavements at all either. while major works are being carried out developing the former brown belt land between these places, it would be an opportune time to also plan a safe cycle route utilising existing lanes, like Cuckoo lane, Nettleholme lane, Canal Tow Path etc. to create a dedicated safe cycle route between the local communities for the use of low emission commuting, fitness, fun rides and reaching facilities. 

This would keep our local communities up to date with eco friendly and safe alternatives of transportation for the future while new developments are still in the development stages. 

Due to these developments, the road networks have become much busier and much less safer than before, it would also increase in local utilities being more accessible for people that want to travel by bicycle, like Hatfield Water Park and the Park in Thorne without having to rely on the bus service, cars or taxis.
