Along with many other people in London I totally rely on local bus routes to get me around.

TFL are now in a six week consultation to cut or reduce many of these routes. 

The route that, if cut will affect me is the D7, Poplar to Mile End - Mile End to Poplar but obviously other cuts will have a massive impact on thousands of others all over London.

Much is spoken daily, and quite rightly so, about the environment but where is the sense, environmentally, in cutting bus routes forcing more people back into their cars? 

As an ageing population I see daily people of pensionable age getting around by bus, are they expected to stay in their homes, never seeing or speaking to anyone?

How will young people get to school every morning when they don't always live locally to their school? I see daily, children on the D7 going to the large secondary school which sits on this route.
