If we continue lobbing plastic into our oceans at the rate we do, by the year 2050 there will be more plastic by weight than fish. 

MORE PLASTIC BY WEIGHT THAN FISH!

If you’ve found your way to this petition then I imagine this fact will gross you out. And you’d like to do something about it. Something more than simply throwing empty shampoo bottles into a different bin and hoping they make it into the 9% of plastic waste that actually ends up recycled. 

Wouldn’t it be great if we could refill said shampoo bottles, rather than adding them to the ever growing mountain (or sea) of plastic waste?! 

You can already refill your bottles of household products with Ecover. Let’s push for something similar with our toiletries by asking FMCG’s to offer refills on their products.
