The Cumberland County School District includement of navel and undergarments (specifically bra straps) is pinpointing females and female presenting students. The thought that underage student bodies are distracting and sexual and should be regarded as such perpetuates victim shaming and rape culture.

Our goal is to show in numbers how many community members actually do care about this matter and are affected or have been. It is important to stand up for what we believe in and what we want and standing together is how we will reach our goals.
