We can’t use our phones during school at all, even at lunch and lunch is our only free time. After being in classes most of the day I think that it’s only fair to let us use our phones during our only break time. We deserve to use our devices without punishment, it’s been proven to relieve stress to most if not all people. With all that’s going on in our life like homework and other extra-cuticular activities we are under a lot of pressure right now and making a simple change can help that pressure just a little bit. It may not be a lot to some people but at least it’s something at all. Another proven fact is that phones during school help improve social behavior for students, we also get access to educational websites and things we need for school. Our mobile devices offer a unique learning experience for all of our students, the students also get parental contact if they need something because some students don’t feel comfortable going to the office or nurse. Not only does the student feel safer talking to their parents but so do their family’s. Knowing that your child is safe is a priority and with phones you can make sure that everyone is feeling their best. So just one simple thing can solve so many problems so with that being said please consider letting Culver City Middle School students use their mobile device During our break.
