An employee who has been with CUB FOODS for 14 years was denied FMLA to take care of her dying husband.

Employers should have some empathy for their employees who are struggling with the care of their dying family member. If employers cared a little bit more about their employees, and their struggles, employees would care a lot more about their performance and would likely be proud to promote who they work for. We must have much more understanding and compassion from our employers to create a good working environment.
