Restart the COVID testing program at CU Boulder
CU Boulder has stopped COVID testing amidst the worst spike in cases we've ever seen in Boulder County. Not only that, the university has continued to divert resources from testing when (1) there is a severe shortage in rapid tests, (2) students are returning to school from all parts of the country and beyond, and (3) the tragic Superior fires have increased the risk of community spread for displaced faculty, students, and staff. Going online doesn't change the fact that many members of the CU Boulder community are worried about contracting COVID and spreading it to others but currently have very few resources available to them for testing. Public testing sites are overburdened and often have hours-long wait times.
Sign the petition if you believe the university should put our community's mental and physical health first by reinstating PCR test sites around campus!
