This petition is addressed to new applicants, associate members, and anyone considering applying for certification as a translator or interpreter in Canada.

Anyone who acquired services from an associate translator or interpreter which was rejected for not being from a certified translator or interpreter can sign this petition.

We are thankful to our families who rely on us to make ends meet. They accept our struggles and have been providing us support for years.

Let's stand together to achieve the necessary change and end the CTTIC monopoly.

New applicants are welcome to pay fees and try their luck with the examination.

Associate members have been treated as unqualified translators and interpreters despite 10 to 20 years of proven experience.

We demand that all correspondence and agreements with other entities be shared with associate members.

We demand that no certified members correct the exams because of conflict of interest.

We demand that all associate members be certified if they have another translation certificate or a diploma in translation as well as Canadian experience in the field.
