On September 14, 2021, ABC30 published an article stating that Fresno State is considering returning to virtual classes after Thanksgiving.

Please sign and share this petition asking Fresno State not to make this switch to virtual learning. 

Fresno state is requiring students and staff to be vaccinated, tested weekly if unvaccinated due to a legitimate medical or religious exemption and mandating masks at all times when indoors. There are many other safety measures implemented across the campus to protect students and staff from COVID-19. 

The Fresno State community is asking President Saúl Jiménez-Sandoval and other university officials to strongly consider all other options before making this switch to virtual learning. It is our hope that options such as mandatory testing or stricter health screening can be implemented to ensure safety while avoiding the damaging effects of virtual learning.
