On behalf of the majority of students in the CSU system, we would like to petition for classes to be in-person this coming fall 2020 semester or postpone enrollment until in-person learning is obtainable.

Many students are unable to focus or learn via the present remote learning options and can only achieve academic success through face-to-face teacher and classmate interaction.

CSU institutions have enough time (approximately over 4 months), before fall 2020 classes commence to implement the necessary COVID-19 safety precautionary measures to open campuses by the fall semester.

Many CSU students struggle financially to pay for tuition and feel they are not obtaining the proper return on investment via distance learning and absence of in-person university resources.
