It has come to my attention that there is a petition going around against dog control in the Silver Creek Area with very misleading facts about how dog control works.

In an attempt to show both sides of the want and need for dog control in the area without scare tactics this petition has been started and will be presented to the CSRD. 

Contrary to other information put out, dog control does not apprehend an animal without just concern. If you are a responsible dog owner, there really should be no issue in having dog control. 

As with any issue regarding community safety and wellness, having both sides represented is important in a democratic society.

Have your choice heard. If you are in favor of a safer more welcoming community without the detrimental effects of irresponsible dog owning behavior, sign this petition.
