Online Accommodations for 2022 Cohort
Online Accommodations for 2022 Cohort
There are many students in the CSAD 2022 cohort that were displaced during the pandemic. Due to many of us not living in the Sacramento area it is unacceptable that our department is offering mostly in-person courses, with only about a two month notice and four months left in our program. Relocating for only four months is not fair to students who will have to find housing or jobs that will accommodate this short amount of time. Many of us who do not live in the area will have to quit current jobs, only to move back jobless after the semester is over. I believe it is the departments responsibility to phase in in-person classes without putting their students in distress. It is understood that Sacramento State is doing everything they can to bounce back from COVID. However, it is not acceptable to disregard students who need accommodations due to the impacts of COVID. You are setting us up for failure.
