How many people truly care about bullying, suicide, & depression and want to see a change?

I personally feel like no one truly goes in depth about bullying, suicide, and depression. Many people have heard about bullying, suicide, and depression but many people do not understand the effects it has on people and that many people go through these problems. I think it's important for people especially people my age to understand that it's not okay to make fun of or to hide from these problems. My motivation is that I realized that people will talk about other people as a "joke", but i don't think people realize that some people take it as a serious thing. A lot of people will try to play it off cool, but as soon as they get home, they start thinking about all the bad things people have told them and start thinking it might be true. I'm trying to get enough signatures to see how many people will support this idea because I want to start something at my school. I want to make a change and I want to see how many people are willing to help. PLEASE help me (especially people at my school) because this is very important to me.
