Tower of God season 2 was not yet announced at the Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2020, and international Tower of God fans are eager to see their favorites come back on the screen.

Tanino-sensei did a brilliant job with the character designs, the voice acting cast for the JP, KR, and ENG dubs were fantastic, and the anime was a major hit that drew new people around the globe to the world of webtoons. Though many good webtoons are now also getting anime adaptations, Tower of God has a deep & complex story that makes it very popular, and for good reason.

Not to mention, we want SIU to receive the support he deserves! He has poured so much heart and soul into his work and the progression of the webtoon is living proof. This webtoon has been ongoing for a decade, with lengthy, detailed, and beautiful weekly chapters from SIU, and so I firmly believe that seeing the story through to the end is justified.

I know I am not the only one who has found new family/community through Tower of God - this is one of the friendliest, funniest, inclusive fandoms I've ever been a part of, and many others could attest to this, I'm sure. The development of Bam's character and his relationships with others throughout the series is something we all relate strongly with, so stopping at Season 1 limits anime-only watchers from experiencing the beauty of it. Not to mention the depth of the plot, with foreshadowing of future developments that haven't occurred yet dating back to Season 1 Episode 0 of the webtoon - it is truly a journey people shouldn't miss out on.

RE: criticisms towards the anime - animation as a medium is much different from webtoon format, and as such, things like pacing/cinematography/adaptability/etc. have to be taken into account. It's understandable that the anime couldn't be a direct copy of the webtoon, and I think it should be regarded as stand-alone and a promotion for SIU's work. Only good things would happen if we got a season 2, so please support our cause!

So Crunchyroll, please give us Tower of God season 2?
