Because of the pandemic many people are forced to stay inside and some of them use Crunchyroll to kill time and watch anime, Many of them have to sit through unskippable adds, that you can only get rid of if you pay $7.99 for, and during a time when many people don’t have jobs and can barely pay bills, Crunchyroll should let us worry about not needing to pay to not sit through adds, wait what seems like forever for new episodes because we can’t watch them after Japan and other things. If this petition goes through, then boredom might not be a problem someone would have to sit through for; quite possibly the entire year! If we “lose” then people may get desperate, and may spend their last paycheck to watch anime. This could also benefit Crunchyroll! After the whole quarantine is over and people get jobs again, they may miss having free anime with no adds, and buy premium. So please, help a few strangers out, not just me but most likely thousands of people will be effected in a good way from this. If Pornhub and Fakku are doing it, why shouldn’t Crunchyroll!
