As Covid-19 spread rapidly, changing life as we knew it, forever.  For the health and wellness of their entire team, Crown media halted production and began airing reruns.  As a result a countless number of people were left to search for a a reason to smile, laugh and even learn a new life skill (everything from cooking, baking, to sewing, arts & crafts to body health).  The Home & Family cast and crew provided that temporary escape from the gloom and doom that had taken over the airwaves.

Host Cameron Mathison and Hostess Debbie Matenopoulios have been friends for 20+ years and it shows in their on-screen banter. Larissa Wohl works tirelessly to find a home for our fur family (adopt don't shop).  Maria Provenzano brings her DIY skills in everything from sweet treats to wall hangings (all from scratch),  Orly Shani can take a piece of your wardrobe that hasn't been worn in ages and turn it into something  brand new.  The fashionista of the family transforms everything  from jewelry to shoes in no time at all.  Lawrence Zarian provides his style expertise  taking 1 wardrobe item and provides several different ways to wear it.  Kenneth Wingard brings his eye for interior & exterior design showcasing his knowledge taking an old worn out piece of furniture and turns it into a beautiful addition to your decor.  Shirley Bovshow is your 1 stop shop for all things greenery.  Got a question she will have a solution. Last but certainly not the least, Kym Douglas, who as well as Cameron is a cancer survivor, brings many natural healthy ingredients  (more often than not) uses Cam as her *willing* participants.

Honestly, I don't think I would be here typing this if it hadn't been for all of the above.  Along with the corona virus, I was facing multiple surgeries and as I result, the only times I ventured out was for Dr appts/pre-op tests.  I actually found myself wondering who I was going to turn to if I didn't have that escape to turn to. In closing, I want to scream to the entire world, this group of people are not *celebrities*, they are FAMILY.
