Kids of all ages get off the metro transit here after school. While they are waiting for a gap in traffic to cross, it can be scary as some cars speed through here and others just don’t slow down. Yesterday a little boy was hit and injured pretty badly. Although some will say it is the parents who should teach their kids to make sure cars are stopped , it is also up to drivers to make sure that a kid isn’t going to rush from that group and take a chance crossing. I just feel like it would be much safer if a cross walk were installed here. If you agree, please sign the petition , if you disagree, no worries. Not everyone has the same opinion.
