Today our Governor JB Pritzker got on live news and said they are doing everything they can for the people incarcerated by making sure that they have hand sanitizer and access to cleaning supplies but this is not true for all of the facilities that hold are family members and friends in this difficult time. I know first hand that this is not going on they have them on lock down now just started this on Thursday 3/26/2020 and only allowed out to take shower and get food but no access to hand sanitizers or cleaning supplies and will not let them know anything that’s going on in the facility I was told last week that someone tested positive for Covid-19 in the facility but the staff would not comment or speak on it. Then after they told them they are going on hard lockdown that it was just a rumor going around. Just like our Governor JB Pritzker said today a incarcerated person is a person and one life is not better then another.
