The Cross Country train service to and from Gloucester is appallingly non existent unless you wish to travel to South Wales or the East Midlands

I'm signing because I feel sorry for all the people who have to go to Cheltenham and change trains to travel to Birmingham.

I travel to Bristol regularly and the fact it takes nearly an hour to get there is ridiculous. We need more trains and a quicker journey time to encourage the use of public transport

The current service is second class between Gloucester and Bristol; I commute daily, and for a 35 mile journey to take an hour is a second class service!

With cabs at both ends, reversal at Gloucester need not be very long (as used to be the case with loco hauled stock). Gloucester deserves a better link to Bristol and Birmingham. The present stopping service is not good enough. Cross Country need to provide many more carriages (over crowding is always an issue from Cheltenham), and provide more services. They should also provide free wifi like GW. Frankly the service to the south west is a joke - overcrowded, nowhere to put bags, reservations frequently not working. Its simply not good enough. Its about time the west country got more money spent on transport - why is London getting 7x as much ? I'm sick and tired of subsidising London transport when ours is so bad. Not good enough by a long way !

Gloucester is a City with a lot to offer and access to it is restricted because of the lack of rail transport.

It's so difficult to travel East and West! Why can't we get a Gloucester-Oxford connection?
