Lemna community is a residential area in the city of calabar in cross river state with a population of about 5,000 - 10,000 people, the government started dumping waste around the area many years ago and this has continued over time and the waste management agency and the state government is not doing anything about it to relocate the dumping site to another place due to the hazardous effect on the people, everyone is effected and businesses are no longer working, and people are tired of the government not responding to their plea to relocate the dump site. We are calling on the state government as a matter of urgency to relocate the dump site to a far place.
