Why this petition matters

Started by Hannah Caldwell

Community gardens are a great place to learn how to grow your own food, connect with like minded people and get outdoors as well as looking after our treasured soil.

Humans, plants and animals can all benefit from urban agriculture since it creates habitats and improves the ecology of the area.

Results show that community gardens  provide numerous health benefits, including improved access to food, improved nutrition, increased physical activity and improved mental health. Community gardens are also seen to promote social health and community cohesion.

These are ways that community gardens help the planet as well as us :

Plants Naturally Clean the Air and Ground Plants

Growing Your Own Food Reduces Carbon Footprints

Prevents Soils Erosion

Replenishes Nutrients in the Soil

Lets be part of a future healthy Cromwell!!!
