Petitioning Cricket Creek Ferret Rescue

Surrender all animals under their care to reputible 501C3 animal rescues

After weeks of attempted persuasion, CCR  surrendered 4 ferrets and 1 recently deceased ferret's body to NC ferret shelter representatives. One was immediately taken to the veterinary care center died during surgery to remove his massive tumor. The other ferrets are very ill and have received very little, if any veterinary care even though hundreds of dollars of donations have gone to CCR. There are still many animals in CCR's care, many of whom have been obtained through surrender under the belief that CCR operates as a Rescue Organization, many of them are sold to the highest bidder on pet forums and craigslist. The dogs on the property are allowed to interbreed with one another and lack proper housing, Rabbits are also bred for profit, this is not how a rescue operates! We have made numerous reports on the property and the situation gets worse every day, yet you have done nothing to end this. This senselessness must stop immediately! There are reputible rescues ready to take these animals into their care.
