Currently there are many dogs within our communities who are not suited to attend off leash dog parks, either because they show signs of anxiety, because they have experienced past bad experiences resulting in them becoming timid, reserved and not wanting to associate with dogs they do not know or are a Greyhound whereby it is currently illegal to be off leash in an off leash dog park. 

This petition is to have funded allocated to set up a bookable dog park, where members of the community can book an allocated time to take their dogs for an off leash play without the worry of other dogs turning up. 

By setting up a bookable dog park, this will allow those dogs a chance to experience fresh air, stretch their legs and have a worry free play, bringing joy to both the dog and their pawrents.
