Many people who have committed crimes in their past can not obtain employment as easily as a non offender. Also a former criminal can not recieve housing assisstance as a non offender can. The people who have committed crimes and completed their sentence, should after a length of time for proof, be allowed to not have their mistakes haunt them and affect their children. An ex-felon can not receive the same benifits and assisstance as a non offender. These obstacles often have a huge factor as to why there are so many repeat offenders in the criminal justice system.
