Surfcoast shire to provide an enclosed dog park with appropriate fencing , gates , water trough, and undercover shelter.There are 6538 registered dogs in Torquay and considering dog owners are paying $ 68 per dog ,surely some of this income could be put to accommodating our furry friends.The vacant land on the eastern side of sports ovals is Crown Land and cannot be built on , so this is an ideal area centrally located and will stop people bitching about dogs being on the ovals which all residents are entitled to use except during game times.How much longer do we have to wait ? Please support this petition and I will personally follow up with the Council
