Today I dropped my 8 year old at the bus and there were about 15 students huddled at the corner as a parent attempts to help them cross. Fog covered the area and visibility was low not to mention it’s already difficult to see on this street on a regular day. As I inquire about our long standing crossing guard whom we’ve grown to love and depend on, I learn that the city has determined our street isn’t dangerous enough and sent her to another street. Crafton boulevard is definitely a dangerous intersection. We’ve seen cars fly down that road and almost take out the crossing guard, let alone these children. Our children are important too. They need a crossing guard to keep them safe. GIVE US BACK MS. DIANE !
