Richard Body started this petition to Dudley Metropolitan Council

Councillors Tim Crumpton and Richard Body are extremely concerned, that now the Conservative's control Dudley Council with a large majority, our local Foxcote and Oldnall greenbelt is under even more threat of development.

A review into future black country housing needs, has concluded, approx 30,000 extra homes are needed. We believe a Dudley Tory controlled council, wouldn't stand up to pressure to build on greenbelt from their own party in government.

We demand, that Dudley Council once and for all,  stand up for our precious greenbelt and change their "Brownfield site first" policy. To a "NO GREENBELT DEVELOPMENT" policy.

Stop the threat and commit now, to a "NO GREENBELT DEVELOPMENT " Policy, and save every inch of our greenbelt.

We want a stop to any government forced greenbelt grab. We want the threat of greenbelt development lifted from Foxcote and Oldnall. What fragments of farmland we have left in Cradley and Wollescote are vital for our air quality, food production, health, wildlife and even flood prevention.

We the undersigned want and demand Dudley Council, to end its "Brownfield site first" policy. Instead stop the threat of the destruction of our greenbelt, and change its policy to a "NO GREENBELT DEVELOPMENT" POLICY.
