Why save our school?

Chicago Virtual Charter School (CVCS) has been a beacon for change in how education is delivered to our under-served youth. Education is more effective when individualized for every learner in a safe learning environment, and that is exactly what CVCS offers. CVCS provides a hybrid platform of learning that partners teachers with learning coaches to foster a unique learning experience for all of our scholars.

The stakeholders of CVCS are pushing to save our school, our home, our family. We are asking for your support in hopes of showing CPS that CVCS is a valuable and necessary partner in the community and deserves to remain open for the years to come.

CVCS stakeholders understand the position of the school. We want sustainable change and any change needs time to plan, develop, and implement. Over the years we have overcome many challenges and taken accountability for the struggles that have continued. With the right administrative team and staff along with students, parents, learning coaches, and community this school will be successful.
