CPI Security's owner and CEO- Ken Gill's racist comments have led many customers and organizations in the southeast region to #BoycottCPI. Organizations like the Carolina Panthers, the Charlotte Hornets, Bojangles, the Charlotte Knights, the Durham Bulls, Columbia Fireflies, the University of South Carolina, NC State, and so many others have cut ties with CPI. 

However, there are many customers that are being held hostage by CPI and are not allowed to cancel without being forced to pay heavy financial penalties in the middle of a pandemic. 

CPI Security Systems, Inc.- The racist comments of your owner and CEO were insulting and bigoted in nature. As if that wasn't enough, your long history of discrimination against employees of color in the workplace is unacceptable. These reasons qualify as extenuating circumstance and we demand that you release any customer who wants to cancel as a result of them without:

a. Any contract default fees or any cancelation penalties. 

b. Any finance agreement costs, cancelation costs or having to pay the remaining balance of the Smart Pay balance upon return of the equipment. 

These customer should not be held accountable for the irresponsible, discriminatory and racist actions of your organization. Your actions have led them to want to cancel and the burden of responsibility falls on your shoulders, not theirs. You've hurt enough people already and this is your opportunity to make things right.  Let these customers go!
