People in jail are incredibly vulnerable to catch the Coronavirus. This puts them, and the rest of society, at risk. After all, guards and other personnel do go in and out of jails. It makes no sense to keep people who don't represent a safety concern incarcerated.

In this time of crisis we must act in a humane way and immediately release from jail all those mentioned above. It is a complete danger to the public health of all of us (prisoners as well as those on the outside) for DA’s, sheriffs and legislators to take no action.

We should not be locking people in jails in the first place! Now there is a highly contagious and serious virus that is widespread throughout our state and it may be life or death for people living in these crowded conditions without appropriate medical care.
