I am a Computer Science student at Coventry University who had revised intensely for weeks for the Software Quality and Process Management exam that was on the 8th of January 2019 at 09:00 am.

We were handed a group of slides to go over for revision for preparation for the coming Software Quality and Process Management exam. Within the exam, there was a particular twenty-mark question within Section B that was about the topic of Version Control. Mark Tyres the module leader that had made the revision slides had said that all the questions regarding the theory section of the exam would be covered within his slides. However, he had not included any content regarding the version control topic within any of his revision slides. Even though the exam had requested the student to have an in-depth knowledge of the topic to answer the question successfully.

Because of this misinformation, I believe many Computer Science course students who did the Software Quality and Process Management exam on the 8th of January 2019 had been unfairly misinformed of the information required to successfully do the exam and so did not have the opportunity to get the marks they revised for. This is all due to the module leaders’ fault in not providing the correct information to succeed in the exam. Had he covered this topic within his notes in-depth or at all I believe many students who had revised all of his revision slides that were meant to cover the topics within the exam would have had a better chance of receiving a higher grade.
