We need a sustainable energy solution today. Solar Panels are the way. Coventry HOA says you can have them on your roof but they can only be on your back roof because the back is not visible from the driveway or front of the house. Unfortunately this guideline makes no sense, since solar panels are dependent on where the sun shines your roof. If we are forced to only have them on the back of our house and the sun shines on the front of your house for the majority the day, that is not very efficient. That is exactly the case for my roof and probably a whole bunch of us depending on which way your house sits. NC law states HOA’s can not deny us Solar. Sign this petition and change Coventry’s antiquatedguidelines. Solar should be allowed on any part of the roof it is most efficient regardless of it being visible from the front or not.
