Envisage Estate Agents based in Coventry are exploiting students by not returning their deposit on time or not returning their deposit at all. They never give a reasonable explanation to why and has led to raising issues with the Ombudsman.

Envisage are very difficult to get into contact with especially during maintenance issues. They are very slow to resolve problems within the property and sometime do not solve the problem at all. There is a huge lack of communication.

A personal experience with Envisage was that the contract stated bills were included but Envisage were adamant the students pay the bills. As the students followed the contract (legally binding document), we did not pay the bills as it was included. Envisage (more specifically Mr Shergill) black mailed us and threatened to blacklist us in a verbal confrontation.  Now they are refusing to return the deposit. This is just one case of students being exploited. This case is still ongoing. 

They suggest that we seek our own legal advice knowing for well students may find it difficult to afford lawyers.

A lot of students join Coventry University and many find accommodation through Envisage. This petition is raised to ensure that not a single student will ever be exploited by Envisage again. I am appalled by the behaviour of the agents and Mr Shergill. 

There needs to be a change! 
Raise awareness of this poor estate agency, prevent another student becoming a victim.
