The dress code is very strict and doesn’t make sense. Everyone’s shirt has to be fingertip if they want to wear leggings or shorts. Well some people have really long arms and some people have really short arms and it doesn’t work.

In the summer here in Alabama it’s so hot. We need to have breathable clothing on especially since we go outside for PE. I’m not saying we should completely quit the dress code, but make it to where shirts and shorts just have to cover the entire rear and not all the way to my knees.

No tank tops? It’s 100 degrees outside. Please let me just wear a tank top. The three finger rule doesn’t make sense. My fingers are a different size than a teachers, a teacher are a different size than my parents, my parents are a different size than the principle. There’s no way to tell if it is going to be three fingers for a teacher that would dress code you. 

Wearing jeans isnt what everyone feels most confident in. Some times I just want to wear what I am confident, and comfortable in. But or course, it’s against dress code. Please sign this petition to help us students.
