On December 4th Good Guys Gym was hit with a court ordered restraining to shut down immediately because we were in violation of the county mandate prohibiting mass gatherings.  Our gym is 3,500 square feet.  Even at our busiest times we have not had more than 15 people working out at the same time.  People come in and work out by themselves.  Maybe with one other friend.  But they are not there to gather, and be within close social distance of each other.  Even if we ran at 10% capacity, we have been no were near that number. How can we be shut down for this?

Bottom line is we all know that staying physically fit is good for your immune system.  It is also good for mental health.  It is how many people relieve stress.  Especially in times like these.  People need the gym more than ever.   

Don't deny people the ability to stay healthy because you think we can't keep ourselves safe.  We have 4 hospital grade air purifiers that cover 300% of the sqft of the building.  We have sanitation stations everywhere. We clean all the equipment with a cleaner that kills everything for 24 hours.  All equipment is more than 6 feet apart.  It is a safe place to be.
