Thousands with Covid have suffered WITHOUT SUPPORT from family and friends, alone behind closed doors, without the love and support they desperately need in the name of Covid. 

Many have DIED ALONE behind those closed doors, losing hope and the will to live. Some would rather die at home surrounded by family, than fight to live alone.  

Meanwhile, they come from and return to their home together - they ride to and from the facility together - they are cared for by staff that come and go shift after shift spending time with their friends and family.  Yet we REFUSE SUPPORT while hospitalized. 

We placate with visits on technology and through windows in the name of disease prevention, and yet we have always allowed visitors to those with other infectious disease.

THE PROBLEM...... liability.

THE FIX...... Wear a mask, sign a waiver. 

Human to human support is a right we all have, as is autonomy to make informed decisions. We DESERVE LOVE and SUPPORT from those we choose. We are being refused that right at a time we desperate need each other.

Removing support from Covid patients, institutionalized persons and those in long-term care in the name of safety to reduce liability is inhumane and it has to STOP!
