Move the Frank Rizzo Statue to Councilman Kenyatta Johnson's Corner of 20th+Annin

There has been much discussion about Philadelphia's Frank Rizzo statue as of late.  Should he stay or should he go?  Was he good or was he bad?  Is the statue going to come back alive and hurt me?  I believe there is a compromise that will bring "many sides" together and also solve a long-time / long-ignored quality of life issue.

I am a longtime resident of Philadelphia's Point Breeze neighborhood.  Each day, I leave my house and walk to work.  I see illegally dumped trash everywhere.  I use 20th Street to get from Point A to Point B.  Each day, I pass by Councilman Kenyatta Johnson's corner of 20th and Annin.  I do not remember passing this corner and not seeing a pile of illegally dumped trash sitting there.  Maybe you have seen it too.

Many community residents have begged Councilman Kenyatta Johnson and State Rep. Jordan Harris to please help us stop this.  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Philly311 have all been utilized, but there has been no effective/professional response. Going on at least 10 years now.

It's very embarrassing to be asking a sitting Councilman to fix a simple quality-of-life issue on his very own block.  Councilman Kenyatta Johnson has to take a left on 20th and Annin to park in his back driveway.  So he see's the trash everyday.  Passes by the trash everyday.  It is a sad situation that has brought many residents to tears over the years.  We do our part but he cannot do his.  Why should we trust someone to make the big decisions for the city if he cannot fix a small issue?

Since the community cannot get any help from our elected leadership, I started thinking - What would scare local residents to stop illegally dumping their trash on Councilman Kenyatta Johnson's corner? And then it hit me like a bag of illegally dumped trash on Councilman Kenyatta Johnson's corner....

LET'S MOVE THE FRANK RIZZO STATUE TO 20TH AND ANNIN!!!!!!

If you have a heart and care for residents that care about their community, please consider signing my petition.  If you are interested in seeing some pics of the trash on Councilman Kenyatta Johnson's corner, I suggest looking at @rufusdeck on Twitter.  This person seems pretty upset about the lack of leadership as well.

The community is also trying to get Starbucks to open up in the old barbershop on Point Breeze Avenue.  There is a petition for that too and we have many signatures already.  Thank you for taking the time to read this petition and have a blessed day
