I enjoy the park exactly as is and do not wish to see it changed

I live on McMichael Park and see exactly how much use it gets on a daily basis. I love seeing people there exercising, playing with their kids, visiting one another. This is a well used one-block park in a dense neighborhood, and the open-ended structure serves the community well. I do not want to see paved paths cutting through it or fences erected. The community does not need yet one more formal playground structure when enough exist close by to serve the needs of parents with young children.

I think it should stay as is for people of ages to enjoy. There is 2 playgrounds and only one park..

I think we need to preserve the only large, flat, green space located in our neighborhood. There are at least (2) playgrounds in our neighborhood and this is the only green space. Please do not change it.

I grew up in East Falls. I love McMichael park and have the fondest memories there. I played there every weekend and daily during summer. My friends and I didn't need a playground to keep us occupied. We had our imaginations! I remember Morton the turtle being our trusty steed headed into battle! He was also our balance beam for Olympic gymnastic tryouts. Morton was home base for a game of tag and wiffleball. In high school, my friends and I would sun bathe and do our homework at the park.
McMichael park is fabulous just the way it is. You just need to use your imagination.

I grew up there and own a house basically across the street. The park is a wonderful oasis just as it is.

Not all progress involves developing empty spaces.

That park is beautiful as it is!!! Not everything needs to be about the little "darlings" that people choose to have. How about I want a quiet, serene, and peaceful refuge in a busy city!!???

Traffic noise aside...
Children need to be self directed in creative play. Seniors need places to just soak in nature.

Too many playgrounds, how about a water feature and concert/drama series?
