Hello, my name is Albina Virchenko. I am a parent who is concerned with the incidents of the increased bullying episodes in the local Asser Levy Park and the neighborhood. My agenda is to promote a safety in the park for all the children and adults. Our children have a right of a safe play and leisure in a playground, they should be given an opportunity just be kids in protected spaces.

Lately safety of the visitors in the park is being threatened by local bullies. They use racial slurs, abusive language, deviant behavior, driving motorcycles and bikes in the playground, they use intimidation and aggressive behavior toward their peers, parents, and older adults. More and more families are getting affected by the group of the same local kids, who have no respect or regard for others.

I am asking all the parents come up together as a community and stand up for our kids and their safety. They should not feel being afraid neither to go outside or to attend a school. The more signatures we will collect, the better chance for us to be heard. #stopbullying
