I am Ava Fegan I am 10 years old, i am writing this petition to get support to bring a skate park to Omagh, I think a skate park in Omagh would benefit young children like me and older people from 13-18. I think a skate park in Omagh is a promising idea to help people with their fitness, their mental health and social anxiety. It will also help build up their confidence on and off the skateboard. A skate park would be safer for people that skate on footpaths so they do not hurt others or themselves. I hope whoever is reading this is taking this into consideration. I would be more than happy to help design a skate park in Omagh because I have been looking for inspiration from other skate parks around the world. I also have some good ideas on where to put the skate park such as the Grange Park or Lovers Retreat. I am hoping to get over 1000 names on this petition so we can take to the councillors in Omagh.
