Last month, Metrolinx announced that it would be removing the noise barrier between Eglinton Avenue and Aerodrome Crescent (http://thecrosstown.ca/news-media/whats-new/noise-barrier-wall-and-soil-nail-wall-removal).

We are the residents of Aerodrome Crescent and we urge you to keep this barrier in place. If the barrier is removed, our backyards will be in plain view of all cars, LRTs, and pedestrians passing along Eglinton. Not only does this greatly reduce our privacy, but it also places our children at risk. 

Given that the barrier has already been installed, leaving it in place should not result in any new costs. It will, however, help to maintain the character of our neighbourhood and our quality of life. 

Please refrain from removing the noise barrier.
