Don't "sacrifice" the replacement of Pitlochry Primary School! #SavePitlochrySchool

A commitment was made to the community of Pitlochry by Perth & Kinross Council that their primary school would be replaced by 2022. This commitment was made in the Council's Composite Capital Budget. Perth & Kinross Council are now proposing to "sacrifice" the replacement of Pitlochry Primary School, in order to support projects elsewhere. By the time the replacement building was due to be completed, the current prefab building - built in the early 70's - will be around 50 years old. The children of Pitlochry deserve a safe, modern, fit-for-purpose learning environment and their future should not be sacrificed for vanity projects in Perth. We call on all councillors of Perth & Kinross Council, in particular Councillor Murray Lyle, Leader of the Council, and Councillor Caroline Shiers, Convener of Lifelong Learning, to reject this proposal to scrap the replacement of Pitlochry Primary School.
