We require traffic calming solutions outside Linmeyer Daycare Centre. We require speed bumps, a pedestrian crossing and caution signs for the safety and protection of all Linmeyer Daycare Centre children and families.

The children and families are exposed to the road conditions on a daily basis at drop-off and collection times. In addition, the learners need to cross the road to access the Marist Brothers facilities regularly. 

Traffic is currently poorly controlled on Jan street, outside Linmeyer Daycare Centre. Many drivers in the area seem unaware of the necessity to be cautious in areas where children are present. There are often speeding cars on the road. There is no pedestrian crossing or safe place for the learners to cross the road. In addition, the near-by blind corner presents a greater risk to traffic conditions.
