There has been an enormous increase in traffic on Norman Parade from Sandgate Rd due to rat-running down Bonney Avenue, Norman Parade, Morrison Rd, then onto Junction Rd and the reverse. These vehicles travel at high and dangerous speeds onto Norman Parade. We have also seen a considerable increase in heavy vehicles using these streets as a cut-through from Sandgate Rd to Junction Rd. We have a Childcare center and Elderly persons home on Norman Parade, plus many children crossing from local schools. In addition, Norman Parade has a lot of vehicles that park all day for the train station, making it already challenging to cross safely.  With this and the speed and sheer volume of vehicles, we kindly request calming traffic suggestions on Norman Parade to slow these vehicles down.
