We currently have shortage of child care services to get families back into the workforce, to have time to clean their house. 
With our ever expanding community, new residential block, a boost in babies over the last two years, and no access to a child care spot, women and men are struggling to return to full time work, they are struggling to pay bills, have essentials for families, due to no child care options within our community. 
The one child care we do have is full. 
Having access to to after kinder care, would allow three days to community to work, having access to day care on another day will support our community and its economy. We need a child care service or hub that supports all our families and growing community. 
We would like Glenelg Shire Council to open child care services in our community. Create a child care hub, the buildings are there the need is huge, it would boost our workforce, it would reduce the need for government financial support, it will also allow us to have quality family time as we wouldn’t be driving further away for access to child care services.
