How unfair it is that elderly and disabled people have to pay the highest council tax?

I am disabled, took early medical retirement because of deterioration in my health and because of my disability had to move to a bungalow. My disabilities unfortunately mean that I have to live in a property that is single storey; and this is the same for most disabled and/or elderly people - we have no other choice!

There needs to be an urgent change in the way Council Tax Valuation and Banding is applied to bungalows, which are often in the higher banding in the south-east of England e.g E, F and G. 

The government Valuation Office Agency (VOA), must look at applying fairer banding to bungalows. Please write to your MP to petition an urgent change.
